Training areas at ATTAC can be rented on a daily, weekly or ongoing annual contract to meet the individual needs of the agency. Our entire facility is segmented as individual training components and can be utilized in many different scenarios depending on the requirements and mission of the training. CRCE Pistol/Carbine

3 day course | ammo 150rds pistol, 200rds carbine
Course Fee: $695

CRCE (Close Range Combat Engagement) allows the shooter to experience high intensity shooting at extreme close range. This course is both mentally and physically demanding.

Day I - Tactical pistol - Drills conducted at 25m and less. Heavy focus on technique over marksmanship. Drills include 4 count draws from holster, magazine changes, off hand shooting, off hand and strong hand single arm drills, firing from the two position, pistol firing positions, magazine changes and many more advanced technique drills.

Day II - Tactical rifle - Drills conducted at 50m and less. Heavy focus on technique over marksmanship. Rills include rifle firing positions, off hand and strong hand shooting, magazine changes, immediate action drills, close quarter holds and many more advanced technique drills.

Day III - Transition primary/secondary - Day three combines the first two days of training. Many of the same drills as day one and two will be conducted adding transitioning techniques. The rate and pace of training will be ramped up to test the shooters newly learned techniques.

Pathfinder - A4

3 day course | ammo 300rds carbine
Course Fee: $495

Pathfinder course is a leadership development course consisting of three days of time sensitive training with minimal time for individual thought and rest. Course is comprised of four challenging aspects of training to include; patrolling, operations planning, land navigation, and survival. Each is essential and will allow the student the opportunity to demonstrate each through practical challenges focused on, movement, terrain, survival, and extractions.

Course Outline - Patrolling techniques, land navigation, terrain and environmental conditions, coordination and planning, tracking, environmental injuries, first aid.

Practical - Search and Recovery, Water-based operation, react to contact, land navigation, patrol / asses / report, over-watch / security.

Patrolman Rifle Course - LE Only

2 day course | ammo 200rds carbine
Course Fee: $395

Provides student knowledge based training platform. Course is calculated with time punctual training outline, comprised of three prospective theatres of operation. Each is selectively important and is covered in its entirety.

Course Outline - includes Logistical planning, operational reporting, advance party research, extraction, weapons practical, defensive shooting, close range engagements

Defensive Pistol III - Low Light

1 day course | ammo 200rds handgun
Course Fee: $225

The primary function of this course is to give the advanced pistol shooter defensive shooting techniques when forced to engage targets at extreme close range. The methods of this course are designed for personal protection in a low light environment. Each student that participates in this course must have completed the Tactical Pistol ll course and have CCW permit or posses Law Enforcement / Military or security protection training along with supporting documentation. Concealed Weapons Permit Holder and Law Enforcement training approved.

Combat Carbine

2 day course | ammo 1,000rds carbine | 300rds handgun
Course Fee: $400

This course was developed for the armed professional and shooting enthusiast who desires to attain a higher level of mastery over his weapons system. While this course focuses on the AR style platform, all assault weapons systems are welcome. You will engage targets from zero to 300 meters and beyond, work as a member of a team, use cover, and perform under stress. This is not a shoot-til-you-puke course, you will be required to think and concentrate while negotiating courses of fire, but don’t worry; your barrel will get smoking hot too. You will make shots from positions and distances you may have never considered and leave with the confidence and mindset necessary to prevail and return home safely.

Course Outline: Safety, Team drills, Zero procedures and theory, Bilateral shooting, Maintenance, Ballistics, Marksmanship fundamentals, Use of optics and iron sights, Stance, Shooting on the move, Shooting positions, Malfunctions, Use of cover, Intermediate and long range marksmanship, Reloads, Close quarters marksmanship, transitions.

Note: If you are an armed professional who utilizes certain tactical gear during the course of your duties, by all means please bring it with you and train with it. Not all of the training will require your kit so try to have some pouches to train “slick”.

Pre requisites: Since this is not an introductory level course we respectfully request that you have taken Defensive Carbine 1 or an equivalent course from a reputable instructor.

About your instructor: Don Edwards is a 20+ year veteran of US Army Special Operations. He began his career in the 75th Ranger Regiment where he was a participant in Operation Just Cause. Recently retired from 20th Special Forces Group where he served as Team Sergeant during combat operations in Iraq. He has served for five years as the Use of Force training manager and primary instructor at the ATF National Academy in Glynco, GA instructing in tactics and firearms as well. Mr. Edwards has worked as tactical advisor to the Department of Defense since 2008 serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan and is a FLETC certified firearms instructor.

Defensive Carbine II

This course is a unique course of instruction that will provide the avid carbine shooter with a more in-depth knowledge base for the M16-A4 platform. The carbine operator II course is designed to provide all aspects of maintenance, diagnosis, and repair as they relate to the M16, M4, A4 Carbine. This is accomplished by providing participants with a two day comprehensive course of instruction. Upon completion of this course, graduates will be asked to demonstrate proficiency in assembly, disassembly, inspection, testing, gauging, and repair of these weapon systems.

Course Outline:  Brief history and overview of the AR15/M16, types of rifles and their developmental predecessors, complete theory and functions of the AR/M16 operating system, mechanics and function checks of the weapon system, build-out and custom work, proper tooling and maintenance, ballistics, clearing techniques, malfunctions, proper cleaning, and range practical.
