What is Project Appleseed?

Appleseed is a program that instructs Americans on the traditional rifle marksmanship skills that have been passed down from generation to generation, along with reconnecting today's Americans with the people and events of the Founding era. Participants are taught fundamental rifle marksmanship skills that are required to allow a Rifleman to be accurate out to 500 yards, with iron sights, standard rifle and surplus ammo. This is the traditional 'Rifleman's Quarter mile', which is an uniquely American Rifleman skill, that has been part of this nation from the very first days. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE

Membership Sales are Unstoppable!

Unbelievable! There's no denying that Ancient City Shooting Range will be the fastest growing outdoor shooting range in the Sunshine State! We now have over 863 registered members and their families. We have been so amazed at the amount of youth that have come out to participate in shooting activities with family members and are excited about launching our youth programs.

Reality check . . . with the growing number of applications we are receiving, we have less than 200 memberships available with Ancient City Shooting Range during the building of phase 2--the member's clubhouse (Summer '11). Our current max goal per year is 1000 members.

What does this mean? Anyone interested in becoming a member is encouraged to come out to the range Mon-Sat 10am-4pm, Sunday Noon-4:30 for Q&A sessions with our training staff, tour the facility and activate their membership.

Shooting ranges are open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 11am-5pm

HELP a wounded warrior

More than 30,000 troops have been injured in recent conflicts, many of them suffering traumatic brain injuries, amputations and severe burns. Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) provides services and programs to ease their burdens and aid in the transition back to civilian life.

Thousands of signature WWP backpacks have been delivered to the hospital bedsides of America's wounded with such comfort items as a tee shirt, shorts, toiletries phone card, cd player and more.

Our benefits liaisons who deliver these backpacks are often wounded warriors themselves, and their experience and guidance offers inspiration and assurance that an injury need not prevent a happy, productive life. We build a wounded warrior community of support where individuals can help each other cope with their injuries and successfully transition to civilian life.
